Thursday Night Dinner

Thursday is where the weekend begins at Skagit Valley Larder.

Each Thursday evening we offer a single 6pm seating for a three-course pre-fixe dinner—our most intentional, intimate service of the week. The menu changes weekly and is guided by the season, inspired by our travels, and rooted in Arlen’s love of Italian cooking.

This is when we pull out all the stops: thoughtful pacing, attentive service, and a relaxed, candle-lit experience that lets you fully settle in and be taken care of. It’s our chance to slow things down and do what we do best.

On Fridays and Saturdays, when we’re open later, you’ll see à la carte specials that riff on the Thursday night menu, alongside our staple plates and lunch offerings—so the spirit of the dinner carries through the weekend.

3/12 Sake 101 Dinner

Featuring Sake expert Carrie Basye Becker from Miami, Florida — she answered our call to come teach us all about sake. We’ve collaborated to create a five-course menu designed to complement five exceptional sakes from Carrie’s highly unique and impressive portfolio.

  • Date & time: 6:00–9:00 PM

  • Price: $125 per person (includes five courses and sake pairings). Tax and gratuity not included.

  • Deposit: $25 required at booking; deposit will be applied to final bill the night of the event.

  • All sakes poured at the dinner will be available for purchase.

Draft Food Menu

  • Sushi rice cakes / scallop crudo — lime, kasho, mignonette

  • Wild mushroom salad with dashi broth

  • Miso-glazed black cod — shaved kohlrabi, fermented vegetables

  • Duck katsu with green curry

  • Corn soy sauce ice cream & cake
