




Pairing 101: Domestic Wine & Cheese
Join us for an engaging evening in our Pairing 101 series with a special focus on domestic wines and cheeses. This event highlights the best of local flavors, featuring five carefully curated pairings of unique domestic wines and cheeses from our deli case, selected by owner Candace Kiersky. Enjoy a thoughtfully prepared experience designed to enhance your palate and support local producers during these challenging tariff times.
The event will take place from 6PM to around 8PM and includes a variety of accoutrements to complement each pairing.
Tickets are $75 per person. A non-refundable deposit of $25 is due at the time of purchase to secure your spot, with the remaining balance collected at the event.

Pairing 101: Thanksgiving Pre-Game!
Join us on Tuesday, November 11th at 6 PM for Pairing 101: Thanksgiving Dinner Edition.
This immersive five-course dinner experience offers playful spins on all your favorite classic Thanksgiving dishes, thoughtfully paired with complementary beverages. Led by owner Candace Kiersky, this class is designed to elevate your holiday meal planning with expert guidance and delicious pairings.
Cost: $125 per person*
*$25 deposit required (which is the purchase of this “product” online); remaining balance due at the event.

A Pickling Party w/ Tracy Pratt
Join us at Skagit Valley Larder for a hands-on Pickling Party, where you’ll learn the art of preserving fresh vegetables in a fun and interactive setting.
For $60 per person, the class runs from 5 PM to around 8 PM and includes all the pickling materials you’ll need — just bring your choice of vegetables from the list: carrots, red onions, green beans, radishes, cauliflower florets, or jalapeños.
During the session, you’ll create one or two jars of pickled veggies to take home, gaining a solid understanding of basic pickling methods, safety tips, and variations you can try on your own. The class size is limited to 8-10 people to ensure personalized guidance.
Skagit Valley Larder will provide light snacks throughout the evening. Please note that wine or additional food is not included, but will be available.

Featuring fresh oysters from the legendary Taylor Shellfish, shucked on-site by Queen Tide Pop-Up Oyster Shuckers.
Chilled champagne will be available by the glass and bottle to pair perfectly with each briny bite.
THIS EVENT IS FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.
